School Age Baptism (age 7-17)

Catholic parents should baptize their children as soon after birth as possible. Those who have not done so may register their children in our Sunday morning religious education program. Registration takes place every year in August; classes begin in September and end in May. The children will need to have two full years of faith formation before any sacraments will be given. For children who have reached the age of reason, the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, First Eucharist, and Confirmation) should be given at the same time, but each situation will be evaluated on a case by case basis to determine what is pastorally appropriate.

Children of non-Catholic parents who are becoming Catholic should participate in the Order of Christian Initiation of Children/Adults and should receive the sacraments of initiation alongside their parents.
