Small Communities of Faith and RENEW

We are calling for scripture-based faith communities, that will pray together and study the Catechism of our Faith. These can be very structured, easy to follow sessions directed by RENEW materials, or scripture studies.  The purpose of meeting is to join with other Christian believers, and challenge us in our Catholic walk.

The small faith communities are made up of 5 to 12 people, meeting in prayer and study, in the place of their choosing (a home, at church, or a place at work, for instance), for 12 times a year, over two years.

How does a person become a Catholic? The Catholic church warmly welcomes new members and tries to provide appropriate spiritual formation according to each person's needs.  In general, people who are interested in becoming Catholic fall into one of three categories: infants and young children; people who, whether baptized or unbaptized, have had little or no affiliation with or religious training in the Christian faith; and baptized people who have been active members in other Christian denominations.
